After the bombing in Islamic University Islamabad and announcement of educational institutions being closed around the country, a group of very emotional yet passionate students met to plan a protest against the horrendous announcement of depriving students from their basic right of education for two whole weeks.

They needed a name, a banner, a mentor and resources. With a committed team of 40 students from various institutions across Karachi, they met regularly for 3 days and managed to pull off a remarkable protest outside Press club on October 24th 2009.

This did not just end there. These students aimed to be a networking organization for Pakistani students worldwide who felt deeply for the cause of students.
